Your tasks

• Analyze markets, customer needs and competitor activities in its cluster
• Ensure structured feedback loops to CoEs and Strategic Projects
• Develop, implement and continuously revise a cluster strategy for Direct Service & Tailor Made
• Agrees on targets for Direct Service and Tailor Made with regional management as part of the planning process and is responsible for achieving the agreed targets
• Breakdown targets to cluster team
• Actively generate leads for all products of our CoEs - prioritizing service and modernization opportunities
• Coordinate with CoEs and sales representatives all sales activities within its cluster
• Takes Bid/No-Bid decisions for Direct Service and Tailor Made < €10m
• Represent SMS group within the Cluster at customer senior level
• Is the Project Owner Sales and drive the sales process from initial contact to contract closing for Direct Service and Tailor Made < €10m
• Interface and contact person for Tailor Made > €10m
• Keep CRM data of customer up to date (contacts, IB, buying center information, visit reports, installed base)
• Ensures a seamless handover between sales, order execution and service team

Your profile

• Deep understanding of the metals industry and market dynamics
• General technical & process know-how / expertise
• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach
• Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies
• Proven ability to generate leads, proactively engage with customers
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Effective at leading cross-functional teams (CoEs, Region)
• Develop and sponsor cluster team
